Am so grateful for all of you and for the support and also hearing how God is speaking to us through this story.
Upon my arrival back to the nigerian guy,he didn’t seem as welcoming still, but I had prayed to God to soften his heart and agree to give me maybe a part time job as I had learnt from my fellow Kenyan lady that he was also an agent.Anyway he let me in the house and this time I found another lady from Ghana who had joined him and my fellow Kenyan lady,to tell you the truth i was somehow happy and worried at the same time because I didn’t know the intention of the Nigerian agent considering the stories I had heard about them taking advantage of ladies and using them as drug traffickers especially in China.
We slept and the next day he called me and he told me that he was willing to help me secure a job, I was super happy for God had answered my prayers just in time. God works in the most amazing ways, the Nigerian guy became my friend introduced me to one of the best schools to work on part time basis and I had an experience of being an English teacher(not qualified though) for two weeks😊,the school would send a driver to pick and drop me ,things were starting to look up but it was shortlived as we had to travel back to yiwu city to get our passports.
God is indeed Awesome, when we decided to head back to yiwu city the Nigerian guy decided to travel with us and he helped us book our tickets which would not have been possible because we didn’t have our original passports but thankfully he had a contact that helped us with the bookings. Our trip was really awesome until we arrived. Our Kenyan agent was not expecting us, so when he saw us he felt like running away because all this time he had mentioned to us that he had picked our passports from the Embassy which turned out it was a lie.
Once we learnt about our passports we contacted the Nigerian guy(our friend) and aired our frustrations and the situation awaiting us, God used him again, I remember the call and he said with the Nigerian accent ‘don’t worry I have an agent who will help you get your passports back meet me at this place in the next 30 minutes ‘ by then we had re united with the other lady that we had left at yiwu city , we hugged each other and cried as we headed to me the Nigerian guy.
We met the Nigerian guy and the Chinese agent and we were instructed on what to do and of course at a fee and thank God for the opportunity I had secured for the money I got would help me settle the fee.The Chinese agent informed us to be at the embassy at a certain time and also on what to say when asked questions all this time our Nigerian guy was accompanying us and am reminded that God will use anyone to become a blessing to you in ways you can’t even imagine because He loves us so much despite our situations and circumstances. We got our passports back but there was a catch to it.
My passport could not be extended longer for I had a tourist visa😢 my hope’s were crushed again and the worst part was that I had to exit China in two day’s,I had my return ticket with me but upon checking it was a fake one, I was crushed and I questioned the Kenyan agent why he did all that to us but that seemed not to bother him, so I called home and explained to mum the whole situation and I thank God for her she had to look for money so that I get a ticket for the next available flight, thankfully my brother who work’s at the airport was able to do that.
On the travel day, things happened, I got to the airport and my phone decided to crush and my brother had not sent my ticket number I tried all I could asking for help from people but no one was willing , I asked God to send help my way such that the next person I talk to would be willing to assist, and sure enough God answered my prayer again , this time it was a guy from Uganda he offered his phone, I called my brother got the ticket number and to say the least my Ugandan friend was with me till I checked in and he even helped with the luggage. And that’s how I got back to my homeland Kenya safe and sound .It was such a relief
Why I shared this story is to encourage anyone going through season and situations that don’t seem to end, know that God cares and He is preparing you for greater things, I look back and see how God was refining me,like the way gold has to go through fire for it to be refined and the end product is usually a beautiful thing, same way God was preparing me and am grateful for that season despite the pain. Trust the process and wait on God.
Praying for anyone of you going through such seasons, hold on and indue time you will testify
Blessings 💖
